Examination & Evaluation

JRE School of Management follows a rigorous system of continuous evaluation, with weightage given to various assessments such as quizzes, tests, assignments, mid-term and end-term exams, individual/group project work, and presentations. The school will follow a system of relative grading, and a letter grade corresponds to the performance and grade point. Based on the performance in each course, a course grade is awarded to each student, and a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is awarded for the entire program.  At the end of the first year, a student that does not meet the minimum standards is asked to withdraw from the program.

The likely evaluation of academic performance is based on varying combinations of the following components and just a representative sample can be as under:

  • Continuous Evaluation (Assignments, Quizzes, Class participation etc.): 20-25%
  • Project Work/ Term Paper: 15-20%
  • Mid-term Examination: 20-25%
  • Term-end Examination: 35-40%

The evaluation scheme for every course will be conveyed to the students at the beginning of the course along with the course outline.
